An interesting day in the sports world, and a boring day in my world

Today was a very interesting day in the sports world.  Rich Rod fired by U of M.  I would say I was surprised, but I would be lying.  I do not know of a single person who still supported him, beyond a few media folks.  He was the wrong hire in the beginning, and he still is 3 years later.  I truly tried to support him.  He made it so hard.  First sanctions against U of M ever?  3 straight ugly seasons?  Horrible defense?  He was impossible to support.  Now to move forward, and I suspect many fans of LSU may get what they want.  Rid of Les Miles.  Would not surprise me in the slightest to see him head north.  Gosh knows he is not supported here in Baton Rouge.

Personally, today has been boring.  I am tired, and mentally drained from the financial pressure.  I feel like no matter what I do, I can not get ahead.  And every time I get my hopes up that it may change, it stays exactly where it was.  Oh well, on to tomorrow I suppose.

Money, and My Lions

First of all, I will comment on the good stuff.  My Lions won again.  4 straight.  Sadly that is the best since 1999, yeah you heard that right, the fall after I graduated high school.  That is insane.  Thank you Matt Millen.

The second comment I want to make, is I am so tired of money.  No matter how hard I work, I still struggle to pay the bills.  I watch my mom, who is 53 going through the same thing..... Does it ever get better?  Ever?

Welcome and Preview

Howdy everyone from Baton Rouge, my current home.  I have had a crazy first semester at LSU, in the Sports Management Graduate School.  Pulled a 3.67, overall.  It was very good.  I am enjoying my time down here.  I will primarily be talking about 3 things in this blog.  Sports, whether it be LSU, or my hometown teams, The Lions, Tigers, Pistons and Red Wings, along with the University of Michigan.  I will also be talking about life, and about politics and history from time to time.
